How is Christmas over already?

There is the preparing, 
                shopping,
                    wrapping,
                        baking,
                           cooking,
                               traveling,
                                    smiling,
                                         singing,
                                             and SANTA!!!

Then comes the opening,
                  ooo and aahh-ing,
                             thanking,
                                  eating,
                                      packing,
                                          and traveling again!



I turned around and it's over!  How is Christmas over!?!

At least there are photographs to say hey remember this? 

Remember what the REAL tree smelled like? 

Remember playing a Wii Dance-off with your nieces?
Remember watching your nephew's hockey games?

Remember your Dad, sister, and niece dressed up in the church Christmas play?
Remember the gingerbread decorating contest with your loved ones?

Remember being all bundled up looking at the Macy's windows?
Remember? Remember?

Practice, Practice, Practice

In real estate, it's all about location, location, location.

In making music, or perfecting your art it's all about practicing.

Today, I joined a class at the local community center to learn more about the business of wedding photography.  

It was only 103 degrees on a beautiful, sunny afternoon in soCal.

And guess what color I choose to wear?  I'll give you a hint, it's the opposite of white.

It's makes the day so much better when you get to photograph a happy couple!  

I love to hear the sappy story of how they met, fell in love, how he proposed, yada, yada. 

I'm just a hopeless romantic.

The word "romance, " according to the dictionary means excitement, adventure, and something extremely real.

Real romance should last a lifetime.

She was a very nice client, but she still hasn't paid for her session.  Ugh!

He was a little more difficult to capture.  He just would not look into the camera! Men!

 

So I decided to turn the corner and enter the 21st century.

Beautiful Bride to Be

What a lovely family!

It was so comforting to be around such a great group of ladies for my 

good friend Stacy's bridal shower. 

Beautiful ladies...inside and out!

Good friends + Good food= Awesomeness.
